Catalogue Status and Visibility
Catalogue listings can have status and visibility information that determines whether they should currently be available for use.

Active and Inactive Listings
A listing may be active or inactive depending on your catalogue configuration.
An active listing is intended to be available for normal catalogue use.
An inactive listing can be retained in the catalogue without being treated as a current active listing.
This can be useful when you want to keep a listing for reference without deleting it.
Listing Status
Some catalogue types may also use a status to describe the current position of a listing.
For example, property listings might use statuses such as:
- available;
- under offer;
- let agreed;
- sold;
- let;
- or unavailable.
The available statuses depend on your catalogue configuration.

When a listing changes state, update the relevant information promptly.
