Editing a Catalogue Listing

You can update an existing catalogue listing whenever its information changes.

Keeping listings accurate and up to date helps ensure that your Cognivox AI receptionist provides customers with the correct information.

Editing a Listing

Open the Catalogue section in Cognivox and locate the listing you want to update.

Open the listing for editing and make the required changes.

Depending on the catalogue and category, you may be able to update information such as:

• listing title or name;
• category;
• description;
• price or rent;
• location;
• availability or status;
• reference information;
• and other details specific to the listing.

Updating Property Listings

For property catalogues, it is particularly important to keep information such as the following up to date:

• asking price or monthly rent;
• property availability;
• sale or rental status;
• number of bedrooms and bathrooms;
• property description;
• property features;
• and other information shown in the property listing.

Availability and Status

Update the listing promptly when its availability or status changes.

For example, a property may become:

• available;
• under offer;
• let agreed;
• sold;
• let;
• or otherwise unavailable.

Only use statuses that are available within your configured catalogue.

Saving Your Changes

Review the updated information and save the listing.

Once the changes have been saved, the updated information becomes available to Cognivox when handling relevant catalogue enquiries.

Keeping Your Catalogue Accurate

Review catalogue listings regularly, particularly information that may change frequently.

Accurate catalogue information helps prevent your AI receptionist from providing customers with outdated prices, availability or other listing details.
