Signing In and Managing Accounts

The Cognivox mobile app allows you to sign in to your existing Cognivox account and securely access your Cognivox services from your mobile device.

The app also supports multiple saved Cognivox accounts, making it easy to switch between different accounts without repeatedly entering your login details.

Before You Sign In

You must already have a Cognivox account.

The mobile app does not provide account registration or create new Cognivox accounts.

If you do not yet have a Cognivox account, your account must first be set up through Cognivox.

Signing In

To sign in:

  1. Open the Cognivox app.
  2. Select System from the navigation bar.
  3. Select Login.
  4. Enter your Cognivox email address.
  5. Enter your password.
  6. Select Login.

Once your details have been verified, your Cognivox account becomes the active account on the device.

Your Active Account

Open System to see the currently active account.

The Active Account section displays information about the Cognivox account you are currently using.

Features such as telephone history, chatbot conversations and account information relate to this active account.

Adding Another Account

Cognivox supports multiple saved accounts on the same device.

To add another existing account:

  1. Open System.
  2. Select Add Account.
  3. Enter the email address and password for the account.
  4. Select Login.

The account is then added to the accounts saved on your device.

Adding an account does not create a new Cognivox account.

Switching Between Accounts

If you have more than one Cognivox account saved on your device, they are displayed in the Accounts section.

To switch account:

  1. Open System.
  2. Find the account you want to use.
  3. Tap the account.

Cognivox will switch to the selected account.

Information displayed throughout the app will then relate to that account.

Account-Specific Information

When you switch accounts, Cognivox ensures that information belonging to one account is not presented as though it belongs to another.

This includes information such as:

  • Telephone conversation history.
  • Telephone transcriptions.
  • Website chatbot conversations.
  • Account balance.
  • Notifications and associated conversations.

Always check the Active Account section if you are unsure which Cognivox account you are currently using.

Logging Out

To log out:

  1. Open System.
  2. Select Logout.

Logging out removes the active account from the device.

If you have other saved Cognivox accounts, those accounts remain available.

Removing a Saved Account

You can also remove an individual saved account from your device.

In the Accounts section, swipe the account to reveal the Remove option.

Cognivox will ask you to confirm before removing it.

Does Removing an Account Delete My Cognivox Account?

No.

Removing an account from the mobile app only removes that saved account and its authentication information from the device.

It does not:

  • Delete your Cognivox company account.
  • Delete your Cognivox data.
  • Delete your telephone number or telephone service.
  • Delete your conversations or transcriptions.
  • Cancel your Cognivox service.

You can sign in to the account again later if required.

Forgotten Password

If you cannot remember your password, password assistance is available through the Cognivox website.

The mobile app does not change or reset your Cognivox password directly.

From the login screen, use the available link to open cognivox.io and complete the appropriate account or password process.

Internet Connection

Signing in and switching accounts requires an internet connection because Cognivox must securely verify your account.

If your device is offline, reconnect to the internet before trying again.

Keeping Your Account Secure

Do not share your Cognivox login details with anyone who should not have access to your account.

If you are using a device that you no longer intend to use for Cognivox, remove your saved Cognivox account from that device.

Next Steps

Once you are signed in, you can use the other areas of the Cognivox mobile app, including:

  • Telephone for making outbound calls.
  • Transcriptions for reviewing telephone conversations.
  • Chat Bot for reviewing website chatbot conversations.
  • System for account information, account balance, Help and application information.
