Using Mobile Notifications
The Cognivox mobile app can send notifications to your device to help you keep track of activity associated with your Cognivox account.
Notification Permission
Your device will ask whether Cognivox is permitted to send notifications.
Allow notifications if you want to receive Cognivox alerts when relevant activity is completed.
You can change notification permissions later through your device settings.
Telephone Notifications
Cognivox may send a notification when a telephone conversation has completed.
Selecting the notification can open the relevant telephone conversation in the app.
Website Chat Notifications
Cognivox may also send a notification when a website chatbot conversation has completed.
Selecting the notification can open the corresponding website chat conversation.
Notifications for Multiple Accounts
The Cognivox mobile app supports multiple saved accounts.
Each notification is associated with the Cognivox account to which the conversation belongs.
If you select a notification for another account saved on your device, Cognivox can switch to that account before opening the conversation.
This prevents a conversation from being displayed under the wrong Cognivox account.
If You Do Not Open a Notification
You do not have to open a notification immediately.
Your completed telephone and website chat conversations remain available through the appropriate areas of the Cognivox app.
Turning Notifications Off
You can manage Cognivox notification permissions through your device settings.
If notifications are disabled, you can continue to use Cognivox normally, but you will need to open the app to check for new completed conversations.
Removing an Account
When you log out or remove a saved Cognivox account from your device, Cognivox attempts to unregister the device from notifications associated with that account.
Removing one saved account does not remove other Cognivox accounts saved on the device.
